Peer Support in the Community Hub supports new and existing mental health and wellbeing peer support groups in the London boroughs of Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich and some surrounding areas.

This local Peer Support Hub provides:

  1. free training, workshops, coaching
  2. events to meet others and share experience
  3. small grants of up to £250 to setup or develop your group.

Who is the Peer Support Hub for?

Any person or organisation in Bromley, Lewisham, Greenwich or some surrounding areas running an existing or setting up a new mental health and wellbeing peer support group, where people use their own experiences to support each other.

The peer support can happen on a one-to-one basis, online or in a group. It may involve a range of activities, such as crafts, walking or meeting for coffee.

Small grants of up to £250 can be used to help kick-start your new peer support in the community. The funding can be used for things like venue hire, leaflets, materials for activities and training, among other things.

Get in touch to find out about how to access training and grants, and when the next peer support event takes place.
