Volunteers dig deep for Stepping Stones garden

Two teams of green-fingered volunteers from technology recruitment firm Synapri gave BLG Mind an early Christmas present when they transformed the Stepping Stones community garden in Bromley.

On a chilly mid-December day, the teams painted the pagoda, jet-washed the patio, cut back greenery and scrubbed garden furniture, creating a much more attractive and functional space for clients of Stepping Stones Community Mental Health services to use.

Speaking about the day, Synapri marketing manager Sophia Burke said: “The teams thoroughly enjoyed getting hands-on and being able to help create a space that can be enjoyed by all.”

Nathan Rendell, Bromley Recovery Works Service manager, added: “I am very, very impressed with the verve and energy with which the two teams from Synapri transformed the garden space. I can’t thank them enough.”

Bromley-based Synapri chose BLG Mind as their Charity of the Year 2021/22 last January and, like other corporate partners, play a hugely important part in supporting our work.
