Grant Saw’s 100-km run for BLG Mind
Four staff members from local law firm Grant Saw ran more than 100 kilometres each during September to raise vital funds for BLG Mind.
The team from the south-east London solicitors more than doubled their target of £500, raising £1,050 for us, their Charity of the Year.
Ray Crudgington, Imelda Galvin, Michael Pope and Michael Tobin all covered over 100 kilometres in thirty days.
Matrimonial secretary Imelda said: “This was a great challenge and I was delighted to be involved as we look to raise money for BLG Mind.”
Managing partner Ray Crudgington added: “BLG Mind is a fantastic charity and I was delighted to get my running shoes on for them. Running through lockdown has been good for my own wellbeing and mental health.”
Earlier this year, Grant Saw held a fundraising yoga event to support us. The solicitors firm aims to raise a minimum of £2,500 over the next 12 months.
Lucy Morrell, Fundraising Manager at BLG Mind, commented: “We are hugely appreciative of the support of Grant Saw. To run over 60 miles in 30 days was a very challenging task, but we know how determined Grant Saw are!
“Many thanks to the Grant Saw team members for their fantastic efforts to support BLG Mind’s much-needed local services.”
