We are looking for volunteers to help raise money with collection buckets at Charlton Athletic Football Club on Saturday 4th May 2019. In return, you will gain free entry to the League One football match, Charlton Athletic vs Rochdale.
Mind are currently the official charity partners of the English Football League (EFL), promoting mental health awareness to an audience of over 76 million people. This is a chance to reach out to football fans and sports enthusiasts alike, helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health and tell people about local support they, or someone they know, may need.
As part of this EFL partnership, Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich (BLG) Mind are running a donation collection at one of our local EFL teams, Charlton Athletic. To run this collection, we are looking for volunteers to join us at Charlton Athletic ground to collect money from spectators with collection buckets, before the match starts.
Kick off is at 5.30pm on Saturday 4th May 2019, and you will be collecting for BLG Mind from 4pm – 5.30pm. You can then gain free entry into the match, should you wish to stay and watch the match.
If you would like to volunteer, sign up on the Mind website and select the ‘Charlton Athletic vs Rochdale’ match to register.
If you are successful, we will contact you to confirm you are on the volunteer team. Further details of the event will be sent to you nearer the match day.
Volunteers must be aged 18 or over. One free match admission per volunteer.
