Mental health and nature – Photography Celebration

Taking photographs in nature can offer multiple health benefits. Research has shown that not only does photography help us focus on positive life experiences, it can enhance self-worth, and even reduce the stress hormone cortisol.

To mark this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week 2021, which ran from 10-16 May, we asked our supporters to submit photographs of the green spaces and flora and fauna in and around Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich.
