Lewisham Community Wellbeing is delivered by a consortium of organisations with many years’ experience and expertise in providing mental health support to local people.
Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind (BLG Mind)
Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind (BLG Mind) works alongside people with mental health needs and dementia to improve their quality of life. Since 2011, it has been providing mental health support services in the London Borough of Lewisham.
We offer personalised information and advice for people recovering from mental health problems, as well as courses and groups, peer support and volunteering opportunities.
Sydenham Garden is a unique wellbeing centre which uses its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people in their recovery from mental or physical ill-health in Lewisham.
The charity provides people with an opportunity to take part in many groups, activities and clubs which have a focus of adult mental health and dementia and include gardening, craft and cooking.
The Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN)
The Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN) works to empower refugees and migrants to make a positive contribution and integrate into society, and to take control of their own lives.
LRMN supports refugees and migrants with immigration status, housing, welfare entitlements and employment, as well working to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
METRO provides health and wellbeing support services across South East London, with specialist support for members of the LGBTQI community. METRO promotes health and wellbeing through transformative services to anyone experiencing issues relating to gender, sexuality, diversity or identity.
The NHS South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust
The NHS South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust provides the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK, with 4,600 staff serving a local population of 1.3 million people. Its services include inpatient, outpatient and community services. Annually, the Trust treats around 5,300 people as inpatients and over 45,000 as outpatients across Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Croydon.

Lewisham Council provides residents of the London borough of Lewisham with health and social care support with everyday living. This can be as a result of an illness, a stay in hospital, a disability, or because they are getting older and need help to carry on living independently.
The NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group
Set up in April 2020, the NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group covers the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. It is responsible for planning, paying for and monitoring most of the health services across the boroughs. Its key aim is the to ensure the 1.9 million people living in South East London experience the highest possible standard of care within the resources available.
