General Counselling

Counselling offers a safe and confidential environment in which you and a counsellor can explore any problems or difficult feelings you are having and consider ways to manage them.

“It was good to know I had someone to talk to or a place to go to if at any time I thought I was losing control again.”

Who is counselling for?

People seek counselling for many different reasons.

You might be experiencing:

  • Stress or worry
  • Sadness or depression
  • Loneliness
  • Grief or bereavement
  • Difficulties at work or at home
  • Major life changes and crisis
  • A sense that there should be “more to life than this”

Or any combination of the above.

Talking with a counsellor can help you to better understand your thoughts and feelings around the problems you are experiencing, and help you to find solutions.
