How does Bromley Well help with mental health and wellbeing?
BLG Mind delivers the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service for Bromley Well. This is an early intervention mental health team seeking to support adults and their carers at the first signs of mental health distress. The service provides individual and group support to anyone with a mild to moderate mental health problem, such as low mood, anxiety or stress, or anyone who may be caring for someone with those needs.
Individuals experiencing, or supporting others experiencing, common mental health problems such as stress, worry and feeling overwhelm can:
- Receive information, advice and guidance as to how best to look after themselves, or the person they care for.
- Find out about and access relevant local services, community and support groups.
- Receive help in planning ways to manage in the future for when things may get a bit more difficult.
"I was so confused about my life before I contacted Bromley Well. Your support has given me so much clarity, everything you suggested was helpful and relevant, and I just cannot thank you for being there when I needed it most."
Bromley Well is a member of Bromley Third Sector Enterprise, delivered in partnership with five local charities, and funded by the London Borough of Bromley and NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group.
