Building Mentally Healthy Universities (BMHU)
‘Building Mentally Healthy Universities’ is a nationwide programme comprising ten local Mind/university partnerships. BLG Mind are proud to be involved in this project, working alongside Greenwich University to raise awareness of mental health within the staff and student population at the University.
What's the programme about?
The BMHU programme offers the following training courses to students at Greenwich University:
- Wellbeing Essentials for students
- Tools & techniques for student mental health
- Looking after your mental health at work
And the following to staff:
- Staff champions
- Staff Mental Health Peer Supporters
The programme is intended to offer students and staff the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops which will help them to understand mental health better and consequently be armed with a toolkit which will help them to be mentally healthy.
How is the project funded and who manages it?
This project has been generously funded by ‘Goldman Sachs Gives’, and coordination of the nationwide programme is being managed by National Mind.
BLG Mind are responsible for delivery in conjunction with Greenwich University.
